How do I get started with UBOSS?

Getting started is easy. Visit our pricing page and choose a plan that suits your business. Once you've signed up, you'll receive login credentials and can start setting up your business profile, adding customers, and creating invoices right away. Check our documentation for step-by-step guides.

What are the system requirements?

UBOSS is a web-based application that runs in any modern browser. For the best experience, we recommend:

  • Browser: Google Chrome (latest), Microsoft Edge (latest), Firefox (latest), or Safari (latest)
  • Internet: A stable internet connection (minimum 2 Mbps recommended)
  • Desktop App: Windows 10 or later (for the Electron desktop app)
  • Mobile: Native Android app (Android 8.0+), or any modern smartphone with a web browser / PWA

Can I use UBOSS on my phone?

Yes! UBOSS has a native Android app available for download, plus it works in your mobile browser and can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on both Android and iOS devices. Download the Android APK from our downloads page or use the web app for an app-like experience with push notifications.

Is my data secure?

Absolutely. Your data is stored on secure servers located in South Africa, encrypted both in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We perform regular backups and follow industry best practices for data security. Read our Privacy Policy and POPIA Compliance pages for full details.

Can I import my existing data?

Yes, UBOSS supports importing customers, products, and other data from CSV files. If you need help migrating from another system, our support team can assist you with the process.

How many users can I have?

UBOSS supports multiple users on all plans. The number of users included depends on your subscription plan. Additional users can be added at any time. Each user can have different roles and permissions (Admin, Manager, Staff).

Can I self-host UBOSS?

Yes! UBOSS is available as a self-hosted solution for businesses that prefer to run the software on their own infrastructure. This is ideal for IT companies, businesses with specific compliance requirements, or those who simply prefer full control. Contact our support team for self-hosting licensing options.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our support team. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. Your data will remain available for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to export anything you need.

Do you offer training?

Yes, we offer onboarding training for new customers to help you get up and running quickly. This can be done remotely via video call. For larger teams, we can arrange in-person training sessions. Contact us to schedule a training session.

I found a bug — how do I report it?

We appreciate bug reports! Please email support@uboss.co.za with a description of the issue, the steps to reproduce it, and any screenshots if possible. Our development team will investigate and fix it as quickly as possible.
